Jeep Wrangler Lighting Upgrade Enhances Lakeland Client’s Safety

This Lakeland client came to us with some basic lighting needs and for some complex troubleshooting on his 2005 Jeep Wrangler. Someone else attempted to install a couple of round lights on the front bumper, but the mounting wasn’t secure and the wiring was horrible, so they didn’t turn on. He thoughthis lights were bad, but they were just installed badly. The wires were routed poorly, not fused properly, and in general not a very clean or safe install.

Our technicians removed everything and started from scratch. We reinstalled the lights on the front bumper securely, ensuring they don’t rock or tilt, and re-wired them completely, making sure all the wiring was routed hidden, safe and properly terminated. But that wasn’t enough.

This customer wanted MORE LIGHTING, so we installed four ultra-bright original KC lights onto a roof rail and routed all the wiring “stealthily” down the bars and into the cabin of the vehicle.

While the Jeep was here, we also outfitted it with some custom vinyl graphics that resemble the Freedom edition Jeep Wrangler with a slightly modern flare. These were custom-made and installed right here, in-house, using Tunes-N-Tint’s large 60” vinyl plotter. We did all of this on the same day for the customer, and his baby was back home, safe and sound, later on that evening.

Ford Mustang Accent Lighting Upgrade for Lakeland Client

This young business professional from Lakeland brought his 2006 Ford Mustang Roush Edition weekend driver in for some RGB LED upgrades. He was only looking for a slight, subtle enhancement, not our typical wheel well, under-glow or rock-light LED packages. He wanted to keep the stock look and feel of this limited edition vehicle and keep it clean as well.

After discussing a few different ways to dress up the outside of the vehicle without taking away from its style and flare, we decided to go with a simple RGB LED halo ring fog light set-up from Oracle. This is a complete light replacement versus a typical custom retrofit. If he ever decides to return his vehicle to stock, we’ll be able to revert it back, using the original factory fog lights that came with his vehicle.

Lighting is an easy, economical way to change the look and feel of your vehicle. Now, this proud Mustang owner can add a little bit of color and flare to his already-gorgeous Mustang Roush. Using the wireless remote, he can program the the rings to one of 1,000 different color options or combinations. They can strobe, flash or fade, The options are nearly limitless. If he ever decides to add more lighting to the interior or exterior, we also can integrate everything together so they are all the same color.

What exactly is an RGB halo ring? It is an illuminated ring around the outside of the light housing. These are often found on high-end European vehicles. Our systems offer customization capabilities with programmable custom color options and effects that can be controlled via remote control. It’s one of the many color-changing RGB lighting enhancement packages we offer here at Tunes-N-Tint.

Product Spotlight: JL Audio PS-650-VeX

JL Audio offers these speakers in two color choices: titanium black for your ATV/UTV and white for marine use, and both look just great. They are in a compact polymer enclosure that offers big sound in a smaller pod than many others on the market, making them perfect for a roll bar that is already crowded with other accessories.

How Do They Sound?

These enclosed speakers are designed and built by the audio experts at JL Audio – one of the most respected audio companies on the planet. They feature a poly cone woofer and a smooth, silk dome tweeter for clean, accurate highs. They handle 225 watts of peak power and 60 watts RMS – and sound great with a good amplifier. They have a frequency response of 100 Hz to 25 KHz for a full range of sound (although JL does suggest including one of their subs for the ultimate in sound quality).
