Auburndale Client Upgrades Jeep Wrangler Sport Suspension and Wheels

A client from Auburndale recently visited Tunes-N-Tint to inquire about some 2016 Jeep Wrangler Sport suspension and wheel upgrades. To plan the upgrade, we talked to the client about how she would use the vehicle. We looked through our extensive offering of wheel and suspension upgrade catalogs to find a solution that would look perfect.

The upgrades started with installing a Rough Country Perf693 3.25-inch suspension lift kit. This kit includes new coil springs, new shock absorbers and all the related hardware we needed to complete the installation. We also added a Rough Country 2.2 steering stabilizer to help keep the Jeep under control.

We wrapped a set of 33-inch Fuel A/T Tires around 17×9-inch Fuel Boost D534 wheels. These wheels have a black finish with eight milled spokes and chrome bead-lock style hex head bolts around the perimeter.

The client was thrilled with how her Jeep looked and couldn’t wait to get it out on the road.

Kia Forte Cruise Control for Plant City Client

A client from Plant City was at the Kia dealership purchasing a new Kia Forte and wanted to get cruise control, but it wasn’t an option on her car. The client was surprised to learn that a brand-new vehicle right off the dealership floor didn’t come stock with cruise control. Tunes-N-Tint has a great relationship with all of the area car dealerships and regularly installs cruise control, backup cameras, leather interiors and various other dealership upgrades.

We installed a factory-grade cruise control system that we typically pre-load cars at the dealership with. This gives it a factory look and feel while also giving the client a three-year, 36,000-mile warranty on her cruise control upgrade. This cruise control features all the common options available from the factory, including the ability to speed up, slow down, turn on and off, and – of course – brake shutdown with a resume feature to go back to “cruise speed.”

Tunes-N-Tint’s technicians are well-trained on the latest vehicle integration options. This particular cruise control integrates into the vehicle’s databus system. Not only does it look and feel factory, but it even speaks the car’s language, giving it the most factory look, feel and integration possible.

Jeep Wrangler Accessories for Lakeland Client

This 2016 Jeep Wrangler owner decided the stock look just wasn’t cutting it anymore, so she brought it to Tunes-N-Tint for some upgrades within the first six months of owning it. She was looking for the full off-road package – wheels, tires and a lift – but something that was still great on the streets.

The factory wheels were the first thing that had to go. Who likes rocking stock on a Wrangler? These vehicles are made for fun and they should look like it, too. We replaced the stock wheels with some 18” all-black Grenade series wheels by XD, wrapped in 33” Nitto Terra Grapplers. This is the aggressive but clean look that all Jeep Wranglers should come with.

Installing a set of 33” tires requires some minor suspension upgrades. To put these 33” mud tires on this Jeep Wrangler, we also had to do a suspension lift. We outfitted the Jeep with a premium lift kit by Rough Country, one of the many brands of lifts we use.

Not only did we install a 2.5” lift, but we also upgraded the Jeep with new dual front-end stabilizer bars. This is the off-road and rugged looks Jeeps are known for.

Lakeland Client Gets Dodge Durango Subwoofer System

A local client purchased this 2016 Dodge Durango SUV and immediately wanted to add a subwoofer system. The dealership recommended us here at Tunes-N-Tint for the work. We talked to the client about his vision for the performance and style of the system. With a plan in place, we scheduled an appointment to start work.

We created a custom subwoofer enclosure that replaced the third row of seats. The enclosure is home to a pair of JL Audio 8W3v3 subwoofers and is powered by a JL Audio XD600/1v2 amplifier. We finished the enclosure in a durable carpet that matches the interior of the truck quite well. The front of the enclosure has a pressed mesh grille that conceals the subs and amp. The client didn’t want anything flashy like vinyl or lighting.

Once we had the system wired to the factory head and tuned, it was time for the client to have his first listen. He was stunned by how loud the pair of eight-inch subs could play and by their low-frequency extension.
