A client from here in Lakeland recently visited Tunes-N-Tint to discuss the options for 1999 Dodge Ram truck accessories. He wanted to add a set of train horns and a keyless entry system to his to his lifted truck. We showed the client several horn and compression options and helped him pick a suitable keyless system for the truck.
The client chose a set of Vixen Horns VXH3418C Triple Trumpet Chrome horns. The horn kit comes with a mounting bracket that we used to mount the system under the bed of the truck. To power the horns, we sourced a Viair compressor and air tank kit. The 1.5-gallon air tank and 150 PSI compressor are mounted near the horns to keep the system compact.
We installed a Viper 211V keyless entry system into the truck to allow the client to lock and unlock the door from as far as 1,000 feet away.
The client loves the new air horns and the remote locking and unlocking functions. If you are in Polk County and are looking for accessories for your truck or SUV, drop by Tunes-N-Tint and speak with our team. Alternatively, you can send us an e-mail using our contact page.

Tunes-N-Tint in Lakeland, Florida knows that we don’t always have enough charging ports for the USB devices we take on the road. Europeans make fun of North American vehicles for the number of cup holders we have. How come we don’t have USB ports for each seat? If you feel our pain, don’t fret! We have several options to add as many high-current USB charging locations you could ever want.
In the front seat, an extra charging location for your phone frees up the cigarette lighting socket for a portable GPS or a radar detector. If your better half wants a USB port for themselves, we can add that too! Our sales team will work with you to understand how you use your vehicle. We’ll work with you to figure out where we should install the upgrades. This will help you maximize your efficiency when behind the wheel. Inside the center console or the glove box are popular locations for an extra USB port.
