Ford F-150 Lariat 4×4 Lift Kit for Lakeland Client

This Lakeland truck owner wanted to trick out his truck – and he certainly came to the right place. He was looking for just a little bit of flare, but with class, for this F-150 Lariat. We wanted to tone down the exterior of the vehicle while giving this sporty F-150 a more aggressive, rugged look.

First, our team here at Tunes-N-Tint black out all the stock chrome F-150 logos. This helps tone down the look of the vehicle and give it a clean, classy look. That’s the first thing we did to help change the appearance of the vehicle without giving it a heavily modified or customized look. No more chrome; just sleek, sexy Flat black emblems on this F-150.

This client also wanted his F-150 to have a more aggressive, tougher stance. We recommended going with a ReadyLift 2.25” SST lift kit. It features 3” tall cast iron blocks for the rear and CNC machined billet aluminum for the front. This allowed us to increase the stock tire size to up to 35” while dramatically improving the overall look of the vehicle.

We then upgraded the wheels to premium KO Truck Wheels in all-black with only mild accents of stainless, giving it a bead lock, military look. The wheels had BF Goodrich All Terrain Tires, so not only does this truck look more aggressive, but now this F-150 is sitting high enough and has the aggressive tread needed for any driving condition.

Jeep Wrangler Lighting Upgrade Enhances Lakeland Client’s Safety

This Lakeland client came to us with some basic lighting needs and for some complex troubleshooting on his 2005 Jeep Wrangler. Someone else attempted to install a couple of round lights on the front bumper, but the mounting wasn’t secure and the wiring was horrible, so they didn’t turn on. He thoughthis lights were bad, but they were just installed badly. The wires were routed poorly, not fused properly, and in general not a very clean or safe install.

Our technicians removed everything and started from scratch. We reinstalled the lights on the front bumper securely, ensuring they don’t rock or tilt, and re-wired them completely, making sure all the wiring was routed hidden, safe and properly terminated. But that wasn’t enough.

This customer wanted MORE LIGHTING, so we installed four ultra-bright original KC lights onto a roof rail and routed all the wiring “stealthily” down the bars and into the cabin of the vehicle.

While the Jeep was here, we also outfitted it with some custom vinyl graphics that resemble the Freedom edition Jeep Wrangler with a slightly modern flare. These were custom-made and installed right here, in-house, using Tunes-N-Tint’s large 60” vinyl plotter. We did all of this on the same day for the customer, and his baby was back home, safe and sound, later on that evening.

Polaris Slingshot Radio for Lakeland Custom Builder

This Lakeland custom motorcycle builder enlisted the help of Tunes-N-Tint to customize a new Polaris SlingShot he just picked up. This vehicle was one of its first in the state. GPS navigation and Bluetooth connectivity were at the top of his wish list. He also wanted to be able to see the factory backup camera.

We had to modify the dash and create a new trim ring ito install the new radio. We used our in-house CNC laser to cut a new trim panel for the double-DIN radio out of layered plastic. We etched the customer’s business name into panel, along with our company name in the bottom right cover, for a personalized touch. Our technicians were able to integrate the factory camera with the new Kenwood eXcelon source unit.

Replacing the unsightly factory Polaris radio not only gave this client a huge technology increase, but also enhanced the styling of this aggressive-looking vehicle and made it more modern. We replaced the small, 4” screen on the factory Polaris SlingShot radio with a 7” Kenwood screen, nearly quadrupling the viewing area and allowing him to easily back that Slingshot in at car shows or anywhere else.

Harley-Davidson Trike Audio Upgrade for Lakeland Client

This Lakeland client brought his 2015 Custom Harley-Davidson Trike to Tunes-N-Tint for us to upgrade his audio system. This is a really nice Harley, but like most bikes, the audio system was clearly an afterthought. After discussing the many options available, we decided that keeping and integrating with the stock radio was the best solution for retaining the clean factory look. We set out to upgrade the audio system a lot while keeping it all in factory locations so it wouldn’t distract from the overall look of the Harley.

This client complained about not being able to hear the music over the bike’s exhaust pipes, so we instantly recommended a Rockford Fosgate waterproof amplifier designed specifically for motorcycles. We also upgraded all four speakers in the existing factory locations using premium Rockford Fosgate units. We hid the amplifier inside the front fairing to protect it from theft and the elements.

The factory radios on Harleys often have “EQ curves” that can make an audio upgrade sound worse than the horrible-sounding factory system. We here at Tunes-N-Tint have invested in the tools and expertise to be able to “reflash” Harley radios and remove these EQ curves to allow our new sound enhancement system to come to life. Even the local Harley-Davidson dealerships are not able to offer this service. Now, they refer their customers to us for all their Harley audio customizing needs.
