The owner of this 2011 Chevy Malibu is no stranger to Tunes-N-Tint. We have previously installed an audio system for him similar to this current system. The main goal was to increase the functionality of the source unit and to increase the BASS. The source unit was addressed by replacing the basic stock radio with a double din Kenwood touch screen radio. The client now could not only listen to CD’s, watch DVD’s (when parked), but also listen to bluetooth streaming music and talk hands-free.
To address the issue of more bass we called upon Rockford Fosgate. The Rockford Fosgate P3 subs were a perfect match for this car. To power them we again called on Rockford Fosgate with one of their Punch amplifiers. To make sure the amplifier had plenty of juice we installed an additional Stinger battery in the back next to the amplifier. In the trunk we added some beauty panels to dress up the installation. The floor got a Chevy emblem embossed in vinyl and the newly created back wall got our signature Tunes-N-Tint logo.
