The new Kenwood DRV-N520 dashcam is now available at Tunes-N-Tint in Lakeland, Florida. This compact, high-resolution camera records everything that happens in front of your vehicle to protect you from fraud and false accusations. Let’s look at what makes the DRV-N520 unique.
Incredible Video Performance
Designed with a Full HD 1920×1080 camera, the Kenwood DRV-N520 saves detailed audio and video at 27 frames per second. The lens provides 117-degree coverage, and state-of-the-art image processing ensures that the image has balanced and accurate exposure. A built-in GPS receiver stores location and speed information while a 3-axis accelerometer records vehicle motion and activity.
The accelerometer or REC button on the rear of the camera will trigger an event recording that starts 12 seconds before it is activated. The included 8GB memory card stores hours up to 100 minutes of video while saving event recordings in a separate folder for easy retrieval. That’s right; you can witness an event, then press the button to record it.
Amazing Source Unit Integration
If you have a new Kenwood multimedia receiver like the DDX9704S or DNX694S, the DRV-N520 will plug into the source unit to display information, with easy and intuitive configuration. The camera includes optical Forward Collision and Departure Delay warnings that can be shown on the face of the radio. If you need to review a recording, it too can be displayed on the radio.
Advanced Protection, 24 Hours a Day
The DRV-N520 includes a function called parking mode. A few minutes after you park your car, the camera stops recording, but it keeps watching. If it detects motion in front of your vehicle or senses movement, it will store a file in the Parking folder to let you know what has been happening around your vehicle.

Tunes N Tint flushes small sensors in your rear bumper that use infrasonic technology to know what is behind you. Inside, you get audible and visual alerts of the distance. As you get closer to an object, the alerts go from a slow beep to a fast beep and finally a constant tone, alerting you of your proximity to the object. The visual display also gives you an approximation of distance.

The Voxx PSD100D uses sophisticated ultrasonic sensors that get flush-mounted into your rear bumper and “see” what is behind you. A control module tells the sensors to go live whenever your car, truck or SUV is placed in reverse. You will hear a single, audible beep to alert you that the sensors are working.
If you would like the added benefit of knowing how close your front bumper is to an object when face-in parking, we can install a second set of sensors just for that purpose. Now you can have protection at both ends of your car, truck or SUV.

The Rydeen system employs four advanced cameras and some high-tech software to “stitch” the images together, allowing you to get a birds-eye view all the way around your vehicle. Each camera gives you an 180-degree view coupled with a high-definition picture.
Another great feature is the backup camera function. Whenever you place your vehicle in reverse, the backup camera comes to life, displaying everything behind you.
